Thank you for
purchasing the PWC ProFlush system, a patent-pending technology that makes
it easy to flush and winterize your personal watercraft and outboard motor
in minutes. The PWC ProFlush system is manufactured in the I. Safety precautions_________________________
A. Secure the watercraft out of the
water and allow engine to cool before flushing. B. Observe all flushing precautions,
instructions and safety advisories contained in your watercraft
owner’s manual. C. Do not allow flushing fluid to
flow into your watercraft engine or cooling system without the engine
running. D. Do not allow your watercraft to
overheat. II. Assembly Instruction_________________________

1. Prepare your watercraft for flushing in accordance with your watercraft owner’s manual. The watercraft must be out of the water and properly secured before flushing. Use the included hose pincher if your watercraft manufacturer recommends pinching an inlet or by-pass hose prior to flushing to prevent flushing fluid from escaping before circulating through the engine and cooling system. [See Figure 4]
2. Unscrew and remove the pump assembly and fill the PWC ProFlush tank with one gallon of fresh water or one gallon of the appropriate marine grade anti-freeze if winterization is desired. Fill to the one-gallon mark located to the left of the printed instructions on the back of the tank. 1_____
3. Add 2 oz. of PWC ProFlush flushing fluid concentrate to the tank contents after filling the tank to prevent excessive foaming. Do not shake or drop the tank. Excessive foaming could interfere with the proper operation of the flush system. Use only PWC ProFlush Flushing Concentrate Fluid at the recommended mixing ratio. PWC ProFlush Flushing Fluid Concentrate is formulated for optimal results with your PWC ProFlush system and can be mixed with fresh water or marine grade anti-freeze. Additional Flush Concentrate is available at marine supply stores and online at http://www.adrenalinwatersports.com/.
4. Reinstall the pump assembly by threading it clockwise on to the top of the tank and tighten securely by hand. The pump handle locks in the down position by pushing the handle down against the spring and turning clockwise to lock. Reverse procedure to unlock.
5. Turn
OFF the on-off valve. Pressurize the tank by pumping the handle 45
to 50 times. Do not over or under pressurize the tank. It is important to
keep track of the number of pump strokes – count each downward stroke. If
the recommended tank pressure is exceeded, the pump assembly will release
excess pressure. The pumping force required will steadily increase as
pressure builds, this is normal. The correct amount of fluid
content (1 gallon) is critical to achieve the proper air/fluid ratio and
to insure proper pressurization.
NOTE: if pressure is released
prior to completing 45 pump strokes, release the pressure in the full tank
by turning the tank upside down so that the pick-up tube on the bottom of
the tank is out of the fluid and slowly open the on-off valve. (a small
amount of fluid from the pick-up tube and hose will escape). Unscrew the
pump assembly, check and clean the gasket and check the tank neck
flange-sealing surface for any dirt or foreign matter. Reinstall the pump
assembly securely and pressurize the tank again.
6. Connect the PWC ProFlush coil hose assembly to your watercraft’s flush kit using the adaptor or connector necessary for your particular make and model watercraft.
7. Start the watercraft motor. With the motor running smoothly, fully open the on-off valve on the coil hose assembly to allow flushing fluid to flow through your watercraft’s engine and cooling system. Insure fluid is flowing properly by observing the translucent coil hose; tank contents and the watercraft’s exhaust system for proper fluid discharge. The tank will drain completely in approximately 45 seconds.
8. When empty, turn off the on-off valve, stop the engine and disconnect the PWC ProFlush coil hose assembly from your watercraft’s flush kit connection. Release any remaining tank pressure before unscrewing the pump assembly by slowly opening the on-off valve. Be sure to remove the hose pincher if installed. Congratulations! Your watercraft is now properly flushed and protected from corrosion - and freezing if a marine grade anti-freeze was used.
9. Clean
your PWC ProFlush system by rinsing with fresh water and allow to dry
before storage. Do not leave or store your PWC ProFlush system in the sun.
Extended exposure to UV radiation will harm the coil hose and tank
assembly. IV. Outboard motors_________________________ Your PWC ProFlush System can
also flush, protect and winterize any outboard motor with a factory or
aftermarket installed flush kit connection. Please refer to your outboard
motor user manual for proper flushing instructions and precautions. Please
see our web site at http://www.adrenalinwatersports.com/ for
more information about using your PWC ProFlush System with an outboard
motor.
